Kingdom Collective rounds up a list of our favourite streamed gigs and DJ sets from quarantine, so far….
Four Tet | Boiler Room: Streaming From Isolation | #8
Pretty early on in lockdown, Four Tet broadcast live from a secret woodland getaway for Boiler Room’s Streaming from Isolation series in conjunction with The Global FoodBanking Network. The 60-minute set features splashes from his new album alongside fan-favourite mixes of Nelly Furtardo, Lumidee, as well as unreleased edits of Björk, Caribou and more. The eclectic mix is not only soothing for the soul but will get you dancing.
Amateurism Radio
Since Beat Hotel residents Amateurism launched their radio station, it has been the soundtrack to all members of Kingdom Collective’s home office throughout isolation. Favorites, naturally include Kingdom Collective’s Nick Griffiths morning serve up of delights on ‘Beat Hotel Breakfast’.

Moxie – NTS Anniversary Show
Towards the end of April, Kingdom Collective favourite Moxie celebrated 9 years at NTS with a broadcast spanning everything from house and disco through to heavy techno, even a home-baked surprise from Leon Vynhall.
Joy Orbison – Radio 1 Residency Mix
For his Radio 1 Residency, Joy Orbison presented a two-hour mix full of unreleased gems including tracks from himself and producers like Kingdom Collective favourite, Bruce.
Dixon | Boiler Room: Streaming From Isolation | #9
Continuing on the Boiler Room Streaming From Isolation series, Dixon took over Boiler Room’s Streaming from Isolation series from Innervisions HQ in Berlin. Ever a dab hand in bringing moody moments to the dancefloor, this 60 min outing complete with immersive underwater visuals at once captured the sombreness of the situation and sated our need to shuffle round the living room.
T4T LUV NRG – Forest Throwdown with Eris Drew & Octo Octa
Inbetween Octo Octa and Eris Drew’s BBC Radio 1 residency, the powerhouse duo hosted a ‘Forest Throwdown’ from the woods near their home and the result was over 3 hours of energetic and uplifting mixing, with some incredible scratching throughout from both.
We also have to give Octo Octa’s Love Hypnosis (T4T003 Mixtape) a shout out. Released in early April on her T4T LUV NRG label with Eris Drew, the 62-minute mix is a delight from beginning to end.
